2022 GME residency program
Aureus University School of Medicine students are eligible to participate in the 2022 GME residency program and ECFMG certification provided they have successfully passed:
USMLE Step 1
USMLE Step 2 CK
OET – Occupational English Proficiency Test
Mini-CEX – Mini Clinical Examination

Aureus students can choose from hundreds of different programs all over the United States and Canada. Upon successful completion of residencies, students move on to become private practitioners or enrolled in a fellowship program. Many Aureus University residents have become chief residents and further serve the needs of their community. The academic requirements for starting residency training (post-graduate clinical training) in the United States are the completion of a basic sciences program followed by clinical clerkship and completion of USMLE Step 1 and USMLE Step 2 that include CK and CS.

Aureus University has developed a network of doctors and specialist physicians that will provide its students with special guidance and tips to apply for a residency position. The licensing requirement of State Medical Boards varies from State to State in the US. For information please contact the respective State Medical Board.
