Aureus students can choose from hundreds of different programs all over the United States and Canada. Upon successful completion of residencies, students move on to become a private practitioner or enrolled into a fellowship program. Many Aureus University residents have become chief residents and further serve the needs their community. The academic requirements for starting residency training (post graduate clinical training) in the United States are the completion of a basic sciences program followed by clinical clerkship and completion of USMLE Step 1 and USMLE Step 2 that include CK and CS.
