Integrated Course Curriculum at Aureus University School of Medicine
Aureus University School of Medicine offers comprehensive MD programs that integrate rigorous academic coursework with extensive clinical experience. Below is an outline of the curriculum for both our 4-Year and 5-Year MD programs, designed to prepare students for a successful career in medicine. Please note that the curriculum is subject to change at the university's discretion.
4-Year MD Degree Program
Our 4-Year MD program is structured into two phases: Basic Sciences, taught at our Aruba campus, and Clinical Rotations, which take place in the United States and Canada.

Clinical Clerkship (Minimum 72 Weeks)
- Third Year: Clerkships in Internal Medicine (12 weeks), Surgery (12 weeks), Pediatrics (6 weeks), Psychiatry (6 weeks), Obstetrics (6 weeks), and Gynecology (6 weeks).
- Fourth Year: 24–30 weeks of electives across various specialties.
Core Rotations
Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Family Practice (durations as noted above).
Electives
24–30 weeks in fields of the student's choice, enhancing clinical and diagnostic skills.
5-Year (1 Year Pre-Med + 4 Year MD) MD Degree Program
The 5-Year program includes an initial year of Pre-Med studies followed by the same curriculum as the 4-Year program for Basic Sciences and Clinical Rotations.
