Admissions Criteria and Process

We consider many factors when reviewing applications. While a strong scholastic record is essential, we also evaluate personal demeanor, communication skills, language proficiency, educational background, and overall commitment to the medical profession.
Comprehensive Documentation
Personal Essay — highlight your volunteer work, community service, and academic achievements to build a strong case for your admission. Letters of Recommendation — submit 2 letters that can attest to your qualifications and readiness for the medical field.
Premedical Requirements
For admission into our 4-Year MD Program, applicants should have completed: One academic year of General Biology or Zoology; One academic year of General Chemistry; One year of Organic Chemistry. Recommended: One year of Physics, English, and Math. Humanities or social sciences are also recommended.
Transfer Students
We may accept transfer students from other accredited medical schools, depending on the evaluation of their academic transcripts by our Admissions Committee. Exemptions are considered on a subject-by-subject basis.
